Their strengths for one activity may not be the same as in other areas.

The same is also true with school as kids learn in many different ways too!

At The C.H.I.L.D. Organization we recognize that ALL children learn differently - 

and that's OK . . .

. . . It's also OK to make sure your child has the right supports when your child is struggling in one area or multiple areas!

The C.H.I.L.D. Organization can help you to navigate child study teams, locate resources and help your child build on their strengths for the classroom, playground and at home.

The C.H.I.L.D. Organization - Scotch Plains Fanwood is a State Chapter.  We are a nonprofit organization, which dedicates itself to providing resources and supports to children and their families where there is a learning difference or challenge. 

Throughout the year C.H.I.L.D. organizes and provides workshops that promote education, maximizes teaching, furthers awareness and is a NJ State registered provider of Professional Development Hours for teachers and other professionals.

Our programs provide resources, specific strategies and supports for parents, teachers and other specialists that work with children with and without LDs  because its not about Special Education,  it is however, all about Good Teaching!
